ABOUT
John Hakkinen started YKT in 2023, drawing upon his thirty years of experience in the field of commercial cooking equipment repair. His journey started when he graduated from Dauphin County Technical School. Graduating in the top ten percent of his class landed him in a fortune 500 company. That company was PepsiCo. John spent the last of the 1990's at Pepsi and from 1996 to 2006, John honed his interpersonal skills as head of the lead repair team, while representing his department on the safety board.
In 2006, John continued his career at REACTS, as a service and sales manager. Coming in at the ground level of the company's infancy, he was actually the sixth employee in their history- the CEO being the first. During his time at REACTS, he helped grow the company into the successful business that it still is today.
By 2016, John was at another Fortune company. He spent one year at Hobart, as manager of the central PA region. before moving on to
K & D Factory Service as an opportunity to gain even more experience on a wider variety of commercial cooking equipment..
By 2023, YKT was born.
